A quick word from the Principal of the practice, Matthew Moat…
Hello and welcome to The Moat Practice. We have clinics in Robertsbridge and Tunbridge Wells. Our Robertsbridge practice encompasses Osteopathy (Moat Osteopaths) and Homeopathy. Matthew our Principal osteopath is also available at our Tunbridge Wells location.
Osteopathy can help people with physical distress. No problem is too big or small, as all can benefit from osteopathy.
Moat Osteopaths provides a professional but relaxed environment in which your condition will be discussed, diagnosed and helped. You’ll leave with knowledge of what is going on in your body and how we can help to get you back to health.
You will not just be given a diagnosis of your injury/condition, but some idea of why it has happened and what we can do about it. This enables you to be active in your rehabilitation, reducing the likelihood of future injury. We also work closely with local medical professionals to enable a complete health service for you.
Osteopathy has been helping people since 1864, developing since then to incorporate the latest diagnostic and medical testing. This has ensured osteopathy’s relevance within modern medicine. Check out the ‘History of Osteopathy‘ section for more information.
Complementing our offering in Osteopathy we also have a registered Homeopath and Nutritional Therapist.
Our homeopath can help you by prescribing remedies according to your specific set of symptoms, and how you experience them and taking into account their overall level of health.
We try to fit in with your busy schedule. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, as early as 6.00am, to as late as 9pm.
We will always strive to see emergency appointments as fast as possible. If you cannot be seen immediately by your preferred practitioner, we will offer you an appointment with another practitioner in the first instance and also book in an appointment with your first choice, for the future. If you are in doubt that it is an emergency please call!
