Moat Osteopaths
Privacy notice
How this website uses personal information. Draft for owner and legal review before publication.
Who is responsible?
Moat Osteopaths is the controller for personal information it uses to respond to website enquiries. Contact us at 12A Station Road, Robertsbridge, East Sussex, by phone on 01580 212293 or by email at appointments@moatosteopaths.com.
This notice covers this website and enquiries made by email or phone. It does not replace a separate patient-record privacy notice.
Enquiries and call-back requests.
The preview contains enquiry and call-back forms with fields for your name, phone number and message. The booking form also asks for a preferred call time and who the appointment is for. These forms are not connected to a service and do not send or save submissions to the practice. Please phone or email instead.
If you contact us by email or phone, we use the details you provide to respond, arrange contact and handle your enquiry. Please provide only what is needed and avoid detailed health information in a general enquiry.
[Lawful basis: owner to confirm the UK GDPR basis for enquiries and any applicable condition for health information before publishing.]
The preview does not add you to a marketing list, take payments or create an online account.
External services and reviews.
Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook links take you to external services only when you follow them. Their own privacy notices then apply. This preview does not embed a Google map.
The homepage displays static Google review excerpts, reviewer display names and dates copied from reviews shown on Moat’s existing website. It does not load a live review widget, reviewer photographs or tracking code. Please contact us if you have a concern about an excerpt.
The site loads font styles and files from Google Fonts. This makes requests to Google, which receives technical request information such as your IP address and browser headers. The fonts are external resources even if you do not click a link.
[Service providers and transfers: confirm hosting, email and future form providers, recipients, processing locations and any overseas-transfer safeguards before publishing.]
Cookies and technical information.
No analytics scripts, advertising pixels, cookie-setting scripts or local-storage code were found in the supplied static HTML pages. This describes the preview code only. Hosting providers may keep technical access logs, and browser or external-service behaviour is separate.
[Hosting logs: confirm what is collected, the purpose, access and retention.]
This notice must be checked again when the site is converted to WordPress, forms are connected or plugins, analytics or live reviews are added.
Keeping your information.
[Retention: confirm how long enquiries, email correspondence, call-back details and relevant logs are kept, and how they are deleted.]
Access and security arrangements for the final hosting, email and form services must be confirmed before those services go live.
Your rights and questions.
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may ask to access or correct your information, have it deleted, restrict its use, object to processing or receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some rights have exceptions.
Contact appointments@moatosteopaths.com or 01580 212293 to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
